The common symptoms of breast cancer are:
  • If you feel a lump in your armpit.

If the breast cancer has progressed to an advanced stage or has penetrated into other organs in the body, you may experience the following symptoms:

  • If you have experienced a sudden bout of weight loss
  • If you have constant nausea
  • If you go through a severe loss in appetite
  • If you are suffering from jaundice
  • If you are experiencing shortness of breath

  • If you are having headaches quite frequently

  • If you are experiencing weakness in your muscles

In the majority of the cases the breast lumps are not malignant.

Following are the different types of advanced breast cancer surgery:

- Breast Conservation Surgery with Oncoplastic surgery:

This involves the removal of the cancer tissue along with the normal tissue around it. The oncoplastic helps in reshaping the breast again.

- Skin Sparing Mastectomy and Reconstruction:

In some situation, it is required to remove the entire breast along with the nipple. Although after some time, the breast can be reconstructed back to the normal shape and size and the nipple can also be brought back.

- Nipple Areola Skin Sparing Mastectomy and Reconstruction:

In some situation, it is required to remove the entire breast keeping the nipple as it is. Skin-sparing and nipple sparing is done by making 2 3 incisions.

- Laparoscopic or Endoscopic or Robotic Breast Surgery:

This surgery is the most modern method of treating breast cancer surgery. The breast can be reconstructed with minimum wound and pain.
